Our Story
Small batches, high altitude.
Every formula begins in a single-room workshop at 1,800 metres, where our formulator — trained in classical Ayurvedic pharmacology — still measures gram flour, rice water and pressed botanical oils by hand, the way her grandmother did. We never scaled the recipe up; we just found more hands who cared enough to keep it slow.
The clay for our soaps comes from a riverbed two valleys over, sun-dried on cotton sheets. The beetroot and hemp seed in our lip balms are cold-pressed in the same village mill that's turned out mustard oil since the 1970s. Nothing here is sourced for a supply chain — it's sourced because someone's family has always done it this way.
Every batch — bar, balm or serum — is cold-pressed and cured before it's wrapped, which is longer than most skincare gets to exist before it's on a shelf. We think skin can tell the difference. So can we.
